Tourism is a recurring theme in geographic research both worldwide and in Latin America, given the importance that it acquires in certain spaces, by taking advantage of particular, natural, cultural resources or a mixture of them; A great diversity of types of tourism is recognized: sun and beach, sexual, religious, business, those that occur in protected natural areas, astronomical, black and ecotourism, among others.

This document includes the research experience in seven volcanoes in the region; each one is included in the chapter of this work. Each contribution, as the central point of academic construction, territorially explains the process of insertion and implementation of tourism in chosen volcanoes.
