In this work the basic concepts of process simulation are studied as a means to develop knowledge in professionals and students of engineering and administration, especially those of industrial engineering. In the first chapters the theory and the fundamental statistical bases to develop and simulate models are presented. The other chapters show how to simulate models by means of spreadsheets, simulation languages and simulators.
